Here is a 2 color letterpress business card we just ran for The Finishing Touch. The fronts and the back where printed separately, then glued together to make a heavier card. A very nice touch. The paper is Lettra Pearl 110#, which makes the card 220#.

Simple can be quite elegant, when done right. We had the privilege of printing this two color, multi-piece wedding invitation set recently. The client went with Crane Lettra Ecru 110lb. A lovely sheet.

Here’s something nice to help start the week off.

This is a very elegant job we just finished up. there are six individual letterpressed pieces, five of which are printed in three colors. The envelope is a a gray metallic paper, with the address printed in a dark gray. Lot’s of work, but definitely worth it.

We just finished up some nice autumn inspired wedding invitation and rsvp’s. The orange really pops, and looks quite classy with the gray type and border. The paper is Pearl White Lettra which, needless to say, looks beautiful.

Ian and Joy are getting married in August. They have been keeping an amazingly thorough blog documenting the preparation of the ceremony. The above video would be an example of that. Ian designed these beautiful single color and blind de-bossed invitations. He came on the day we were printing to film some of the process. The video shows Scott, one of our pressmen, positioning the plate, inking the press, and printing the job.

Here are some detail photos of a wedding invitation we ran recently. This was a two color job, the type in our Oxford Gray, and the flowers in Sky Blue. The artwork was great, the lines in the flowers printed beautifully. If the detail is to tight in the art it won’t print as nicely, it won’t give as nice an impression. So art like this is ideal.
